Customer Service Representative
Home Décor Products is the leader in E-Commerce for premium branded home products. We are a profitable and quickly growing company located in Edison, NJ. We are currently seeking to add to our Customer Service Department.
Responsibilities:
- Assist online customers with questions by providing guidance via e-mail, telephone, and traditional mail.
- Follow up on behalf of customer inquiries through product research, providing accurate information and recommendations for solution.
- Maintain an extensive knowledge of all products and vendors
- Support all HomeClick operations.
- Provide one-call resolution to our customers.
- Work effectively within and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
- Continually look for new ways to satisfy the customer and improve processes, encouraging repeat business with Homeclick and increasing productivity.
Requirements:
- Customer Service experience, preferably in a high-volume call center in the home improvement, high-end luxury, or general merchandise markets.
- Above-average phone manner, email experience, follow-up skills, organizational skills, lucid writing skills, and superior conflict resolution and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent computer skills and strong typing abilities, at least 40 wpm with a high degree of accuracy in both spelling and grammar.
- Experience with database/Internet research.
- Strong analytical ability.
- High level of energy and enthusiasm.
- Four-year college degree preferred but not required
