Interactive Marketing Manager
Home Décor Products is the largest online retailer of home improvement products in the US. We are looking for an Interactive Marketing Manager to help continue our exceptional growth.
The Interactive Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving profitable traffic and sales to HDPI's network of websites. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Interactive Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and analyzing a full range of online marketing initiatives, including paid search (SEM), website optimization (SEO), and interactive advertising and promotion.
This person will manage day-to-day relationships with outside agencies and will be responsible for managing on-going expansion of PPC campaigns, development of creative and copy, analyzing data, reporting results to executive staff, and assisting with invoicing and budget management.
Responsibilities:
- Track, measure, and analyze the performance of all online marketing campaigns including PPC (keywords), paid inclusion, paid link and/or banner advertising and promotions.
- Analyze website visitor activity using the Omniture website analysis tool suite. Interpret results and suggest ways to improve customer acquisition and conversion.
- Direct all HDPI paid search and paid inclusion campaigns, including optimization of search engine ads, landing pages, and bids.
- Work with a cross-functional team to improve organic search results (SEO).
- Manage campaign-testing processes - development and coordination of AB tests.
- To achieve these goals, the Interactive Marketing Manager will need to be fully conversant in search marketing, search engine optimization, online advertising, web analytics and web technology. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate success in natural search optimization techniques, and will have managed paid search campaigns with Google and Yahoo!, either directly or through an agency provider.
- The successful candidate will be a team player, effectively use analytics and modeling to make decisions, be resourceful and a self-starter, and thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Requirements/Experience:
- Savvy online marketer with 3+ years interactive marketing/advertising experience and 1+ year direct experience in search engine optimization and managing bids with Google and Overture.
- Experience with bid/keyword management tools or programmatically driven search engine marketing agencies.
- Experience with with web analytics software - Omniture knowledge a big plus.
- Must enjoy and be skilled at analysis, data manipulation, and data presentation.
- Must be detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Must be able to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- High level of energy and an enthusiastic team player.
- Desire to work in a small team environment to ensure its success and the success of the company.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required.
