Marketing Data Analyst
Come join our team! We're seeking a self motivated marketing data analyst to serve as a manager of our Online Marketing Technologies team at Home Décor Products, Inc. We’re #105 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 and growing fast. Last year alone, we added four online businesses to our portfolio.
We're looking for that candidate who wants to break out of the technology group, and use "hands-on" skills to help identify opportunities to drive our business by working with large data sets in raw form to support the online marketing team.
Responsibilities:
- Hands on data manipulation
- Extract data in various forms (XML, SQL, CSV, ect.) from online analytic tools to perform further analysis and manipulation
- Act as the primary technical liaison between the Online Marketing team and the Engineering team
- Extract, manipulate and analyze large data sets generated by on-line marketing activities
- Manage all outgoing data feeds to Comparison Shopping Engines
- Develop database queries and other tools to support the Online Marketing team in optimizing the outgoing data feeds
Requirements:
- 3-5 years data management or application development experience
- Data parsing and manipulation using MSSQL and XML
- Experience working with and manipulating various types of data including transactional, customer and product for both internal and external use
- Strong organization and communication skills
